From Pong to Eternity is a web comic by Guitarrking and FsMetal that tells of the lives of 2 metal head gamers who love to drink, Billy 'Sonik' Fennigan and Kain Roberts. It follows the adventure of the two as they get play games. poke fun at the industry and get themselves into and out of one insane situation after another. The project came about in early 2007 in a random discussion when the idea was brought up and both FsMetal and Guitarking had both thought about doing a web comic, but neither had seriouslly considerd it until then. They were both onboard for the project.As time passed, ideas started to hit them like rocket fire. The first evolved into what is now known as Kain Roberts. Things really took off from there. The comic continued to evolve in the minds of their creators, and a name stuck out: Sonik. It became the nicmkname of the second lead character, but he needed a real name. At this point, a character design was decided on for Kain. He was given form, but Sonik still lacked a real name or a character design. After scripting a few comics, a name was finally picked for Sonik: Billy Fennigan. He still lacked a physical form, however, and he would not recieve one until after the official logo was decided on. With all the pieces in place, the site you see here went under construction, and the comic was finally given life. FsMetal and GuitarKing are looking forward to the future of this comic and are hoping it will become a success as Billy and Kain evolve with it's storyline.
